Our Safety Solutions

WHAT DO WE DO FOR DEPARTMENTS?

We have several options of implementing our signature safety program.

We can work with your existing safety program manager to identify safety and health vulnerabilities, improve processes, ensure compliance to reduce exposures, and reduce overall costs of mishaps and injuries to departments or we can do it all.

We want to be your safety partner. We provide quarterly reports to promote awareness and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE DO FOR FIREFIGHTERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Unfortunately, a press motive cancer diagnosis does not mean automatic coverage.

We work with families to review their specific cases and provide documentation to identify fire ground exposures that may cause cancer.
Line of duty cancer death reviews.

Consultation with attorneys to show etiology of exposures of the fireground to the cancer.

Dawn Bolstad-Johnson is an industrial hygienist who has made it her business to research and consider how firefighters are exposed to cancer causing carcinogens.

In her book, Exposed - carcinogenic exposure on the fireground and 11 work practices to minimize the risk, she illustrates where and how we are exposed and what unseen chemicals are causing first responders to develop cancers at an alarming rate.

She goes on to discuss 11 simple practices that every firefighter can employ to reduce the potential effects of carcinogenic exposure.
