RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING
Kaizen Safety Solutions LLC can provide annual fit testing for your organization.
This is an annual OSHA requirement for all workers who wear respirators in the workplace. SCBA respirators require quantitative fit testing while ½ mask or N95 respirators require qualitative fit testing. We have the equipment and ability to perform both types of fit testing. Please reach out to us to schedule a time for us to come out to workplace to complete the fit testing at your convenience.
CHEMICAL INVENTORIES
When is the last time that you have taken a chemical inventory of all chemicals used in the workplace – especially if you have multiple worksites. Taking hold of your chemical inventory not only ensures that you are in compliance with the OSHA HazCom standard but also it will help to minimize your overall inventory. EXPOSURE ASSESSMENT
Exposure Assessment is one of the founding principles of the field of industrial hygiene. We are experts at exposure assessment for chemical exposures and physical hazards such as noise in the workplace. We service our Fire Department clients by monitoring inside the stations for diesel exhaust as well as measuring the station for how well engine bay exhaust systems are working. AIR SAMPLING FOR EXPOSURES IN AFTER FIRE ENVIRONMENTS
KAIZEN SAFETY SOLUTIONS has extensive experience in sampling in after-fire environments. Our FOUNDER, Dawn Bolstad-Johnson was the first to publish on the topic Characterization of Firefighter Exposures in Fire Overhaul (1998). She has also conducted multiple studies on the topic of Fire/Arson Investigator exposures. All of these studies are highlighted in her book entitled EXPOSED: Carcinogenic Exposures on the Fire Ground and 11 Workpractices to Minimize the Risk.
